• Game Design Ideas
  1. Bring up your "Favorite Games and Ideas" Google Doc
  2. Review it
  3. Create a new Google Doc named "Game Design Ideas"
  4. Using a bulleted list, begin writing the descriptions of what you would envision in your future game
  5. You may also include descriptions of characters or drawings
  6. Share the Google Doc with Mr. Bui

Monday - Wednesday (12/10/12)

Warmup:

• Digital Portfolio Progress Check

• Complete the Digital Portfolio Website
• Complete the Portfolio Evaluations for 5 other students

Tuesday - Thursday (12/4/12 - 12/6/12)

• Demonstrate that you have added at least 2 additional advanced features to your Dodge game
• Screencasting with Jing
• Embedding in Google Sites
• Digital Portfolio Website

Friday (11/30/12)

Agenda:

• Demonstrate that you have added at least 2 additional advanced features to your Dodge game

Monday - Wednesday (11/26/12 - 11/28/12)

Warmup:

• In a video game, when a player sprite fires a weapon or projectile, what exactly happens? List the specific steps of what you see.

Agenda:

• Complete Dodge game
• If you are done, add the advanced features:
  • Power-ups
    • extra life or health
    • clear screen (item drops and if picked up, gives player a clear screen option)
    • invincibility
    • speed increase
  • Weapon/projectiles
    • single small
    • weapon upgrades to bigger projectile
    • multiple shots
