Goals
- Make a small display scroll lots of text, like: Done
- uptime Done
- load average Done
- cpu usage Done

- disk temperature Done
- Make the display work over USB or serial. Done
- Make a button that toggles the backlight (if I get a display with a backlight), either over hardware or software
- Build a little plexiglas stand for the display so it doesn't sit on the table. 50% - curve bottom so it stands up
- Make it work across multiple computers Done
Progress
- Ordered display + USB cable today (9/16/2010):
- Arrived 9/21/2010
- Built LCD4Linux 9/23/2010, mostly working
- Got LCD to display what I want on the 4 rows, but now I need to scroll stuff (9/29/10)
